Additionally, there are no calories in water so you can drink as much of it as you like. By doing this, you are eliminating all of the calories that you used to drink through soft drink.
- Stop eating starchy, processed foods. Foods such as a pizza, white rice, cakes, chocolate and many others are no good for you. These foods are packed with sugar and if you don’t burn the energy they create immediately it will then be stored as fat on your body. Instead, replace these foods with whole grains, breads and cereals. Additionally, include plenty of high fiber fruit and vegetables in your diet.
Whilst being the most important part of weight loss, your diet is only half the picture. I know many people don’t enjoy exercising so here are some tips to help you implement it into your every day life.
- Go walking regularly. You can do this with the dog, by yourself, or with friends. You might even find that a group of your friends would like to burn some extra calories, too. If this is the case, you can all walk together and you’ll soon forget that you’re even exercising.
- Park further away. Wherever you’re driving, whether it be work, to the local shopping center or to a friends place, try and leave 10 minutes earlier and park further away. By doing this, you can walk the rest of the way and burn some extra calories.
